Since inception, AMAN have contributed significantly to Pakistan’s progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs 3 and 5) and FP2030 commitments by strengthening access to voluntary, rights-based family planning services. As pioneers in post-pregnancy and post-abortion family planning, we have built the capacity of healthcare providers across all cadres in line with national service delivery standards, expanded community awareness of modern contraceptive methods among underserved and low-income populations, and supported the integration of immediate postpartum IUCD insertion into routine maternal health services within public sector facilities. These efforts have contributed to reducing unmet need for family planning and improving maternal and neonatal health outcomes in Pakistan.
