Association for Mothers & Newborns (AMAN) is a non-political, non-sectarian, non-profit voluntary welfare organization. It has been established to improve maternal and newborn health, and contribute to reducing maternal and neonatal mortality and morbidity in Pakistan. It embraces members from different walks of life and disciplines i.e. health professionals, lawyers, media persons, midwives, public health specialists and social scientists.
AMAN was established in 2007. It is registered under Societies Act of Pakistan XXI of 1860

On December 18, 2024, we formalized a Letter of Understanding (LoU) with the Health Services Academy (HSA) and Bakhabar Noujawan. This landmark agreement was signed by AMAN’s President, Dr. Azra Ahsan, and HSA’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Shehzad Ali Khan. We are excited about this collaboration and look forward to making a meaningful impact together.
On Wednesday, December 11, 2024, SZABIST, in collaboration with AMAN and NCMNH, officially launched the “Bakhabar Noujawan” initiative at the university.
